Description

Root vegetables ride along on the route all fall — potatoes, carrots, beets, turnips, and whatever else came out of the ground that week. Varieties and prices change with the harvest, so ask us what’s on the truck and we’ll quote you.

Roots are the keepers: stored cool and dark, most of them hold for weeks or months, which makes them the backbone of winter cooking. They roast under a Sunday chicken, fill a pot pie, and fry up best in duck fat if you saved some from a roast duck.

Free delivery in the Norwich and Syracuse areas; Binghamton free on orders of $20+.
