Summer Squash (each)

Description

Summer squash — zucchini and yellow, a dollar each, picked small and tender rather than baseball-bat sized, because size is the difference between squash people love and squash people dodge.

Slice into coins and brown them hard in butter, shred into fritters or zucchini bread, or halve lengthwise for the grill. Use within about a week.

Delivered with your order in the Norwich, Syracuse, and Binghamton areas — and always in the Farm Box when it’s in season.
